Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their desired loc styles and hair care goals
- Create and install Sisterlocs, traditional locs, and Microlocs with precision and care
- Perform regular maintenance services such as retwisting, interlocking, and tightening to ensure healthy locs
- Educate clients on proper loc maintenance routines and recommend suitable hair care products
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to hygiene standards
- Stay updated on the latest loc styling techniques and industry trends
- Build strong relationships with clients to foster trust and repeat business
Skills
- Proven experience in installing and maintaining Sisterlocs, traditional locs, and Microlocs
- Strong knowledge of natural hair health, scalp care, and loc-specific techniques
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate clients on hair care practices
- Ability to work efficiently while paying close attention to detail
- Positive attitude with a passion for empowering clients through their natural hair journey
- Ability to adapt styling techniques to diverse hair textures and client preferences
- Certification or training in natural hair styling or related fields is a plus
