We are looking to recruit dynamic and friendly PSV Licenced Drivers with a "can do" attitude to join our friendly, family business.
No two days are ever the same in the coaching industry and your days will certainly be varied when you join the team.
We are looking for drivers with a flexible approach.
You may start off driving on our of school contract services before heading out on a private hire for a group or school. Other days, you may be on one of our famous Day Trips where you'll be taking very excited customers on a day out to a location across the UK. Some will be returning customers and others new to coach day trips - but each will be counting on you to welcome them with a smile and a chat along the way.
Your customer service skills (and microphone skills) should be strong as well as your coach cleaning prowess - all excellent coach drivers know a beautifully clean coach and the ability to make your passengers giggle are what we are about.
Don't worry, if you're travelling overnight, you will receive overnight expenses and paid accommodation. If food is not provided within the tour, we'll take care of your expenses so you're well fed as well.
CPC card and tachograph card are both compulsory requirements. You could be undertaking private hires, Home To School routes, day trips and holidays (from our own tour programme) and UK tours (experience dependent)
The Job
To work with us you need to be communicative, friendly, outgoing and most of all be able to put the customers first. We are looking for "doers" with a "can do" attitude. We have a "all hands on deck" attitude.
Uniform will be supplied - presentation is key and our drivers are expected to look and smell the part as well as provide amazing customer service whilst demonstrating your driving skills!
You will need to be able to clean the vehicles at the end of your shift (and mid if the need arises). You will be paid to do this. We do not expect anybody to do something that we wouldn't do ourselves!
Our business is a 24/7 operation which means you should be available in the evenings and weekends too (don't worry - it's not all twilight and weekend work - every week is different!).
