Kitchen Porter – Part Time

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our friendly team at The Ladybower Inn.
This is a part-time position working Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a busy kitchen team and takes pride in keeping things clean, organised and running smoothly.
Main duties include:
- Washing pots, pans, plates, cutlery and kitchen equipment
- Keeping the kitchen, washing-up area and storage areas clean and tidy
- Emptying bins and helping with waste disposal
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Helping with basic kitchen preparation when required
- Putting away deliveries and keeping stock areas organised
- Supporting the chefs and wider kitchen team during busy services
- Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures
What we’re looking for:
- Reliable and punctual
- Hardworking with a positive attitude
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment
- Good standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential, as training can be provided
Working days:
Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
