Barker Studio is a growing UK digital studio specialising in modern websites, branding and digital experiences for small businesses. As our client base continues to grow, we're looking to build a trusted network of freelance creatives to collaborate on exciting projects.
This isn't a full-time employed position. We're looking for a reliable freelance web designer who can work with us on a project-by-project basis, with the opportunity for regular ongoing work.
What you'll be working on
- Designing beautiful, responsive websites
- Creating engaging user experiences (UX/UI)
- Building pages in WordPress, WIX, SquareSpace, Shopify and other platforms
- Working from brand guidelines and design briefs
- Collaborating on website redesigns and new client projects
- Creating landing pages and conversion-focused layouts
- Suggesting creative ideas to improve client websites
We're looking for someone who
- Has a strong portfolio of website design work
- Has a good eye for modern, clean design
- Understands UX and responsive design principles
- Communicates well and meets deadlines
- Is happy working collaboratively
- Can take feedback positively
- Is based in the UK (preferably in Yorkshire)
