We are a privately owned restaurant passionate about great food, quality ingredients, and developing talent. We are currently looking for a part time motivated Kitchen Assistant who is eager to learn and grow, with a clear pathway to progress into a Chef role.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the kitchen team with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
Supporting chefs during service
Learning recipes, kitchen procedures, and plating standards
Assisting with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
What We’re Looking For:
A strong interest in cooking and a desire to develop a career as a chef
Willingness to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team
Good timekeeping and a positive attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Previous kitchen experience is an advantage, but not essential
