The IT Strategy Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s technology strategy to support the company’s growth, operational efficiency and delivery of high-quality services to international students, parents, partner schools, host families and other stakeholders. The role will provide strategic and operational leadership across the company’s IT systems, digital platforms, information management, technology suppliers and cybersecurity arrangements. The postholder will assess the company’s current technology environment, identify opportunities for digital transformation and establish a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with the company’s business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy and digital transformation roadmap.
- Manage and improve the organisation’s IT systems, digital platforms and business applications.
- Lead technology projects, including system implementation, integration and process automation.
- Manage IT suppliers, technology budgets and service delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve business efficiency through technology and automation.
- Develop effective data, reporting and information-management systems.
- Maintain appropriate IT governance, cybersecurity, data protection and technology risk controls.
- Provide strategic technology advice and recommendations to senior management.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to translate business needs into effective technology solutions.
- Ensure the company’s technology infrastructure and systems are scalable, secure and aligned with its business objectives.
Skills/Qualifications Required
- Significant experience in IT strategy, digital transformation, IT management, technology consulting or a related field, with proven experience developing and implementing technology strategies, managing business systems, technology suppliers and IT projects, and translating business requirements into practical technology solutions.
- Strong knowledge of IT governance, information security, technology risk management and business-process improvement, with excellent stakeholder-management, communication and organisational skills.
- Experience in education, international education, student services or another service-based organisation is advantageous.
- A relevant degree or professional qualification in IT, computer science, information systems, digital transformation, business or a related discipline is desirable.
