The Distribution Administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the parts supply chain, including inventory management, order processing, and logistical co-ordination. This role plays a critical part in supporting the distribution team to meet operational and customer needs while maintaining accurate records and high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available to meet customer demands.
- Conduct regular stock checks and co-ordinate stock reconciliations.
- Track and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Order Processing
- Accurately process customer and internal orders through the system.
- Liaise with suppliers to track and expedite deliveries.
- Ensure all orders are fulfilled within specified timeframes and meet quality standards.
- Logistics Co-ordination
- Schedule and track deliveries to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Co-ordinate with transport providers and resolve delivery issues as required.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping and delivery documents.
- Liaising frequently with service team and engineers
- Customer Support
- Act as a point of contact for parts-related enquiries from customers and internal teams.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and escalate when necessary.
- Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm and alternate Saturdays 8.30am to 2pm, with occasional flexibility required during peak periods.
- Office-based with occasional visits to warehouse

Pay: Up to £27,600.00 per year
