Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of dishes with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
- Assist in meal preparation by following recipes, portioning ingredients, and maintaining cleanliness
- Adhere strictly to food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures at all times
- Maintain organized workstations, including ingredient storage and equipment cleanliness
- Collaborate with team members to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a related culinary role
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is valued
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with colleagues
- Basic understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Work weekends, and cover full time cook when off.
Pay: £12.71-£12.72 per hour
