Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative functions within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong office experience, excellent computer skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Duties
- Manage and maintain accurate records through data entry and filing systems
- Handle correspondence via email, phone calls, and postal mail with professionalism and courtesy
- Organise meetings, appointments, and schedules using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as required
- Utilise QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping and financial record keeping
- Assist with invoicing, billing, and other financial administrative tasks
- Support team members with administrative needs to ensure operational efficiency
- Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems for easy retrieval of information
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and order new supplies as necessary
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients, vendors, and colleagues
Experience
- Proven office or administrative experience is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent typing speed and data entry accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally via phone and email
- Familiarity with clerical procedures and office management practices
- Ability to adapt quickly to new software or systems as required
