Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests arriving or departing during the night shift, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
- Monitor hotel premises through CCTV surveillance and conduct regular patrols to uphold safety and security standards.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, or concerns with a positive attitude and effective problem-solving.
- Manage access control for staff, visitors, and contractors, maintaining accurate logs of all entries and exits.
- Support emergency procedures by coordinating with local authorities and providing assistance as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas such as reception, corridors, and lobby spaces during quiet periods.
- Complete detailed shift reports documenting incidents, security checks, and guest interactions to ensure seamless communication between shifts.
- Set up for upcoming events using detailed plans given to you by either management or wedding coordinator
Skills
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred to understand guest expectations and operational procedures.
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and guest services to create a welcoming environment.
- Excellent observational skills for security monitoring and identifying potential issues proactively.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while handling emergencies or difficult situations professionally.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced, lively hotel environment committed to delivering memorable guest experiences.
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
