Experienced Sign Maker
About the Role
We are looking for experienced people to join our sign manufacturing team.
You do not need to have experience in every area of sign making. We are interested in hearing from anyone with practical experience working within the signage industry.
Depending on your skills and experience, your work may include:
- Vinyl application.
- Large format print application.
- Backing up fret-cut aluminium fascias.
- Extrusion fabrication.
- Acrylic fabrication.
- Populating and wiring LEDs.
- General sign assembly.
- Letter building.
- Letter bending.
- Gilding.
- Sign writing.
- CNC machine operation.
- Woodwork and other specialist sign-making techniques.
You will be working in a busy manufacturing environment, so you will need to be reliable, hard-working and comfortable working as part of a team.
We are particularly interested in people who have developed practical sign-making skills on the shop floor and are keen to continue learning and developing.
Essential Criteria
- At least 1 year of practical shop-floor experience within the signage industry.
- Experience in one or more areas of sign manufacturing.
- Basic IT skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to read and write in English.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong practical and visual skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to help in other areas of production when required.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.5 per week
