Packaged Sounds Group Ltd is a leading provider of manufacturing, print, packaging, and logistics services to the music and entertainment industries. We work with many of the UK's most recognised artists and record labels, delivering high-quality CD, DVD, and vinyl products.
We are the only company in the UK with manufacturing facilities located both in the UK and the EU. While we have offices across Europe and the USA, our headquarters and UK production facility are based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
The job
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and checking packaging materials and equipment to ensure production runs operate efficiently and meet quality requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the setup and changeover of packaging machinery for production runs.
- Following work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and company quality standards at all times.
- Preparing materials and equipment to ensure production schedules are met.
- Operating packaging equipment as part of a production team, including making adjustments and carrying out basic troubleshooting in accordance with company procedures.
- Escalating issues promptly using the appropriate escalation process when troubleshooting does not resolve a problem.
- Packaging semi-finished products into finished vinyl records and CDs, ensuring all products meet packaging specifications and quality standards.
- Working closely with colleagues to maintain efficient production processes and high levels of product quality.
- Contributing to a safe, organised, and productive working environment.
