AF Evesham is currently recruiting a Production Assistant. Reporting to the Shift Manager on duty, the main areas of responsibility will be to support the safe and efficient production activity within the Operations department.
We operate a 24/6 4 x week rotating day and night shift pattern involving 2 x 12 hour day shifts (06:25 - 18:30) followed by 2 x 12 hour night shifts (18:25 - 06:30) then 5 days off.
Skills/Attributes:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Pedestrian forklift driving license highly desirable

Responsibilities could include:
- Control of hazardous liquids, inks and solvents
- Washing up of machine parts
- Loading and off-loading reels
- Material movement of work in progress to the lines and finished goods from the lines
- Removal and measurement of waste generated through the finishing process
- Support packing of finished goods on appropriate jobs
- Assist in machine changeover activity including line clearance and set up
- Develop and maintain machine skills to provide break and absence cover
- Help operator in achieving maximum throughput
- Support training of other team members as required
- Maintaining general housekeeping duties within area
