Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and self-motivated Business Operations Officer to play a key role in the day-to-day operational running of our organisation. Reporting directly to the Deputy COO, this dynamic position has a wide-ranging remit encompassing data, IT support, stock management, financial reporting, and governance.
Key Responsibilities

- Data & Assurance: Compile and analyse performance data across Federation services, develop dashboards, identify underperformance, and support compliance with KPIs and quality standards.
- IT & Asset Support: Provide first-line IT support to NICS employees (including EMIS access and system queries), act as the key link with our IT providers, and maintain an accurate IT asset register.
- Stock & Logistics: Devise procurement policies, assess stock levels, and order clinical and administrative supplies in a cost-effective manner.
- Fleet Management: Support the Home Visiting team and management with the co-ordination of the NICS car fleet.
- Governance & Finance: Maintain the NICS website, assist with the compilation of operational policies, coordinate stakeholder forums (such as the PCN Steering Group), and support the submission of monthly ARRS claims to the ICB.

About You
You will be a caring, professional, and flexible team player capable of working under your own initiative. To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A good standard of education (e.g., GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent).
- Demonstrable IT literacy, with strong competence in Microsoft Office, data analysis, and clinical systems.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to problem-solve operational or IT-related issues.
- Strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
- A solid understanding of patient administration systems, data protection regulations, and the Confidentiality Code.
- Desirable: Knowledge of EMIS Web, and an understanding of laboratory results management or referral processes.

Pay: £32,073.00-£39,043.00 per year
