Job Title: Live in Care Assistant (FEMALES ONLY)
Salary: £913.50 per week on & £35 per week expenses
Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire
Start Date : October 2026
We have an exciting opportunity for a live-in carer for an adult in the Wakefield area of West Yorkshire. This will be alternate weeks 1 on/ 1 off. Previous experience of working with people with mental health issues is essential in this role.
PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS SUITABLE FOR FEMALES ONLY.
The responsibilities of this role are:
- To provide outstanding care and support to our client in their own home
- Provide companionship
- Basic help in the home, shopping and meal preparation so good cooking knowledge required
- Deliver specialist care based on training received
- Medication administration
Requirement:
- Committed, caring and compassionate with a clear desire to support others
- Enthusiastic and positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Experience with mental health support
- Knowledge of diabetes support
- Previous experience of a live in role essential
- DBS on update service
