Working alongside the General Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading the team, looking after our guests and making sure the pub continues to deliver the standards we’re proud of.

The role
Working alongside the General Manager, you’ll help oversee the day-to-day running of The Rose & Crown and make sure both our guests and team have a great experience.
You’ll be involved in everything from leading the team and maintaining standards to supporting service, handling guest feedback and making sure the pub runs smoothly.
You’ll be visible on the floor, setting the standard and helping your team deliver the kind of service that keeps people coming back.
There’s plenty of variety to the role, and we’re looking for someone who is happy to get involved rather than simply manage from the sidelines.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who already understands hospitality and is ready to take the next step in their career.
You’ll need to be:
- Experienced in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
- Confident leading and supporting a team
- Passionate about great food, drinks and customer service
- Organised and able to keep on top of the day-to-day running of a venue
- Comfortable dealing with guests and resolving issues professionally
- A strong communicator who leads by example
- Reliable, positive and willing to get stuck in
- Someone who takes pride in their venue and the team around them
