We are looking for someone wonderful to join either our 0-1, 1-2 or 2-3 year old room.
You’ll be helping to create a safe, engaging environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. You’ll plan play-based learning, support emotional and physical development, and work closely with families and colleagues to give every child the best possible start.
Job Role:
- Providing care and education to children aged 0-3 years.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities.
- Record observations and track your KEY children’s development.
- Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all children in your care.
- Communicating professionally with parents, carers, and external agencies.
Job Requirements:
- A genuine care and passion for children
- Experience working with children
- Commitment to meeting standards set by the Care Inspectorate and Scottish Government.
- Ability to follow the curriculum and manage required paperwork.
SCQF Level 7 Qualification or
HNC
or Level 3 SVQ in Early Years Qualification.
Other accepted qualifications include those that meet registration requirements with Health and Care Professional Council (e.g. occupational therapists, arts therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, practitioner psychologists), or registration with the General Teaching Council (Scotland), NMC, or GMC.
