We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and professional Vehicle Collection & Appraisal Driver to join our growing team.
This is a varied and rewarding role that involves travelling across the UK to collect vehicles from auctions and private sellers, carrying out detailed vehicle appraisals, and safely transporting vehicles back to our premises using a trailer.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect vehicles from auctions and members of the public.
- Carry out thorough vehicle inspections and appraisals upon collection.
- Identify and document any damage or mechanical issues.
- Negotiate with vehicle sellers where undisclosed damage or discrepancies are found.
- Safely load, secure, and transport vehicles using a trailer.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and professionally.
- Represent the company in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous experience towing trailers and transporting vehicles.
- Good knowledge of vehicle condition and the ability to identify damage or faults.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
Working Hours
This is a Monday to Friday position with no weekend working.
Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is essential. Some days may require early starts or later finishes, depending on collection locations and schedules.
