Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Admin/Receptionist to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the friendly first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth daily operations. Your organizational skills and computer proficiency will help manage administrative tasks efficiently, supporting our community programs and nursery services.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors warmly and direct them appropriately, maintaining excellent phone etiquette at all times
- Answer incoming calls promptly, providing information or transferring calls as needed
- Manage front desk activities including signing in visitors and maintaining visitor logs
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Handle general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and organizing documents
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings for staff members
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming
Qualifications
- Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar), and QuickBooks is essential
- Previous administrative experience in a busy environment preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Strong typing skills and data entry accuracy are required
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and office management best practices
