Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Sheet Metal Foreman to oversee and coordinate sheet metal fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of sheet metal work. This role involves supervising a team, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining safety protocols throughout all operations. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of sheet metal workers, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high quality standard.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and company policies
- Coordinate with management and customers to meet deadlines and project specifications
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and rectify any discrepancies or defects
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working order
- Assist in planning workflow and allocating resources effectively
Skills
- Proven experience working in sheet metal is essential for this position.
- Ability to read of fabrication drawings is essential.
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Good organizational skills to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
