We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Children's Support Worker to join our team in a beautiful home in Berrington, St Helens, Wa11.
The house is home to 2 sibblings and an 8 year old and has a Good Ofsted rating.
You would work 2 on 4 off with a fantasic £81 sleep rate
The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing personalised support to children, ensuring their wellbeing, development, and inclusion. The role involves working closely with families, care teams, and other professionals to deliver tailored care plans that meet individual needs. Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day support to children in accordance with individual care plans
- Supporting educational activities and encouraging social interaction
- Building trusting relationships through effective communication and active listening
- Assisting with transportation needs, including driving children to school or appointments where necessary
- Maintaining accurate records of support provided and any observations relevant to the child's wellbeing
- Collaborating with families, social workers, and other professionals to ensure consistent care delivery
- Promoting independence whilst ensuring safety at all times
- Participating in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a residential setting is essential
