About Us
We're an ambitious, family-run restaurant and pub in the Bridgend area, taking over the tenancy from 1st September and are growing the team. Our focus is great food, great atmosphere, and brilliant, fresh pub-style cooking done properly.
We're looking for experienced Bar & Waiting Staff to join us, people who know how to look after a table, read a room, and deliver great service under pressure every time.
Your Bread & Butter
- Up to £12.71 per hour (National Living Wage)
- Flexible shifts - evenings and weekends required as part of the role. Want more or fewer hours, we work with you.

The Role
As part of our Bar & Waiting team, you'll be the face of The Caeffatri, welcoming guests, serving great food and drinks, and making sure every table has a great experience, is well looked after and leaves happy.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and creating a warm, genuine atmosphere from the moment they walk in
- Taking orders and serving food and drinks to a high standard
- Preparing drinks to spec, from pints to coffees
- Keeping the bar and floor prepped, stocked, and clean throughout service
- Handling payments accurately and confidently answering customer queries, including allergen questions
Must Haves
- Previous experience in a bar or waiting role
- Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with guests
- Reliability and punctuality
- Right to work in the UK
Preferred
- Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene qualification (or equivalent)
- Own transport
