£45,000 - £65,000 DOE | Burnley | Flexible Working After Probation
If you enjoy property law but do not want the next five years to look exactly like the last five, this could be your route in house.
You do not need previous in house experience.
Your background in Residential Conveyancing or Commercial Property gives you the property knowledge they need. From there, you will have the opportunity to broaden your experience across commercial contracts, corporate projects, employment matters and wider business advice.
One day you could be helping acquire a site for new broadband infrastructure. The next, you might be reviewing a supplier agreement or sitting down with senior management to discuss a commercial decision.
This is a chance to use your existing legal experience differently.
The Opportunity
You will join an established North West group operating across broadband, telecommunications and digital infrastructure.
Reporting directly to the Head of Legal, you will advise on matters that have a visible impact on the growth and day to day operation of the business.
Your work will include:
- Property acquisitions, disposals, leases and licences
- Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements
- Advising senior management on legal and commercial risk
- Supporting corporate projects and business growth
- Assisting with employment and wider day to day legal matters
- Managing disputes with support from external solicitors
You are not expected to arrive as an expert in every area.
The property experience gets you through the door. The opportunity is to build from there.
About You
You will be a qualified Solicitor, ideally with around 2 to 5 years PQE, with experience in either:
- Residential Conveyancing
- Commercial Property
You should be comfortable taking ownership, giving practical advice and working with senior stakeholders.
Previous in-house experience is not required.
This could particularly suit someone who enjoys property work but wants greater variety, more commercial exposure and a career that is not defined purely by caseloads and billing.
