Carrickroe Community Centre CLG is a long standing, inclusive and community focused service working in partnership with the local community to make a real difference. Located between Emyvale, Co. Monaghan & Aughnacloy, Co Tyrone, our service encompasses Carrickroe Community Hall & Professional Working Kitchen, an extensive Early Years Service and the Village Brew.
Our setting has grown at a considerable rate over the last number of years thanks to a growing and experienced team, a dedicated committee and families in the local community who trust, use and support our service.
With a new state of the art childcare facility due to start construction in the coming months we are recruiting an experienced Accounts & Payroll Administrator. The suitable candidate will work closely with existing personnel including the Early Years Manager and the Accountant. The suitable applicant must be a team player with excellent IT and communication skills, open to contributing to all office tasks and ad hoc duties. They will be goal orientated and have excellent organisational skills.
This is a part time permanent position ideally suited to the person who has previous experience in a variety of office duties and administrative accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Processing sales/income including reconciling cash registers reports
Processing purchases - Accounts payable/receivable inc SEPA payments
Reconciliations of cash/bank records
Weekly payroll processing
Assisting with monthly stock takes
Preparing and filing revenue returns
Assisting with annual accounts/audit preparation
Liaising with Department Managers and Committee members.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a similar position – ideally 2 years minimum
- Strong organisational skills with excellent eye for detail and accuracy
- Excellent IT Skills – Proficient use of Microsoft Office - Excel/ Word
- Experience with Sage accounting software & Collsoft payroll
- Knowledge of ROS
- Excellent communication and time management skills
Hours are approx. 25 per week – 9am -2pm Mon-Fri. Salary is commensurate with experience.
