An opportunity has arisen for an Apprenticeship Dental Nurse to join our busy mixed NHS and private dental practice.
We have great opportunities available working in state-of-the-art surgeries where we offer an extensive range of treatments. You will be working with an outstanding team of dentists, nurses, hygienists and specialists to deliver the best treatment and care to create a beautifully enhanced smile.
GDC & Indemnity will be paid by employer and uniform provided.
The role as a Dental Nurse:
> Providing clinical chair-side support to dentists and hygienists
> Ensuring CQC requirements are met
> Providing excellent patient care
> Preparation & cleaning of all clinical areas
> Providing & maintaining infection control & sterilisation
> Setting up decontamination of instruments and working in our decontamination suite on a rota basis.
> Operation of dental computer software in recording patient's dental treatment, medical histories
> Good communication skills and customer service awareness is needed to maintain a high level of service within the dental practice
> Maintaining stock levels in surgery
Trainee dental nurses will be provided with full training and will be enrolled on L3 Advanced Dental Apprenticeship. Applicants must have a Grade 4 or above in GCSE Maths & English.
