Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly private dental practice. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist the clinical team with a range of procedures and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

We are happy to consider applications from either one full-time candidate or two part-time candidates to share the role.
Hours of Work
- Monday to Thursday: 8:15am – 5:30pm
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in accordance with HTM 01-05 standards.
- Assist dentists and hygienists during a variety of dental procedures, providing chairside support and handling instruments efficiently.
- Deliver exceptional patient care by offering reassurance, explaining procedures where appropriate and ensuring patient comfort throughout appointments.
- Accurately maintain patient records using SOE software, ensuring confidentiality is upheld at all times.
- Process digital radiographs as required.
- Organise appointments, manage follow-up schedules and help maintain efficient clinical workflows.
- Ensure the cleanliness, organisation and compliance of the clinical environment.
- Assist with administrative duties, including stock control.
- Provide reception cover when required.
Skills and Experience
- Qualified and GDC-registered Dental Nurse.
- Previous experience working within a dental practice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Good IT skills and confidence using digital dental software.
- A compassionate and caring approach, with a focus on delivering outstanding patient care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of current health and safety regulations relating to dental practice.

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
