Mobile Cleaning Operative — North West England
£14.00 per hour.
Guaranteed 30 hours per week.
Plus paid overtime (typically 10-15 hours per week is available)

SMC Premier Group are recruiting Mobile Cleaning Operatives to join our family‑run cleaning business, covering client sites across the North West of England. This is a mobile, customer‑facing role that requires reliability, attention to detail and the ability to work split shifts (early mornings and late evenings).
The role is field based, with up to 50% travel* between sites and includes occasional weekend work. The role includes a company vehicle.
*Travel time is classed as working time and forms part of the weekly 30 hours guaranteed pay.
Candidates must be based in the North West.
Role summary and day‑to‑day
You will travel to multiple commercial sites to deliver scheduled commercial cleaning services, ensuring each site meets client hygiene and safety standards. Tasks include cleaning communal areas, washrooms, kitchens and high‑touch surfaces, reporting maintenance issues and completing site checklists. You will represent the company on site and must deliver excellent customer service and consistent standards.
Essential requirements
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one (clients operate in regulated/safeguarding environments).
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Minimum 18 months commercial cleaning experience.
- Ability to work split shifts (early mornings and late evenings) and be available for some weekends.
- Based in North West England.
- Willing to travel extensively between sites (field‑based, up to 50% travel).
- Strong attention to detail, reliability and a professional attitude.
