We are a friendly, growing business managing creative studio buildings across East London. Our buildings are home to musicians, artists, beauty professionals and many other independent businesses.
We are looking for a reliable, organised and motivated Assistant Building Manager to join our team on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in operations and building management. Full one-to-one training will be provided by our General Manager.
About the Role
Working closely with our management team, you will learn every aspect of the day-to-day operation of our buildings. You'll assist with operations, administration, organisation and building management while gradually taking on more responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day running of the buildings.
- Organise maintenance works and contractors.
- Carry out regular building inspections.
- Support studio members with enquiries.
- Manage emails and general administration.
- Update spreadsheets and internal systems.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Help maintain high standards throughout the buildings.
- Support operational projects and improvements.What We're Looking For

- Confident using computers, email and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

- Ideally living within a reasonable travelling distance of our Canning Town or Bermondsey locations.
Experience
Previous experience in administration, office management, operations, property, facilities management or customer service would be an advantage, but is not essential.
