About the Role
As part of our workshop team, you will play a key role in keeping vehicles safe, compliant, and operating to the highest standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out truck and trailer MOT preparation
- Completing inspections, servicing, and routine maintenance
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
- Repairing and servicing vehicles to manufacturer standards
- Road testing vehicles where required
- Completing ancillary vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Attending occasional breakdown work when needed
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, and takes real pride in the quality of their work.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic, LGV Mechanic, or HGV Technician
- A solid understanding of inspection, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair
- Formal qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair would be preferred
- A Class 1 Driving Licence would be an advantage
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
