An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Marshall as an additional Air Traffic Controller (ATCO) at our airport in Cambridge.
As an ATCO at Marshall, you’ll play a vital role in the safe and efficient movement of a diverse range of military and civilian aircraft. Working as part of a small, highly motivated team, you’ll provide Tower, Radar and Approach services, gaining valuable experience across a varied and engaging operational environment.

Responsibilities:
As an ATCO you will provide a safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of ATC services to all aircraft operating under Instrument & Visual flights rules when arriving, departing, or operating in the vicinity of Cambridge City Airport, de-conflict aircraft from vehicles and other obstructions on the ground while operating at all times within the limitations of their ATC license.
You will ensure that all services are provided in conformance with CAA Regulatory Standards and local Cambridge City Airport instructions including CAP 493 (MATS Part 1), MATS Part 2, the Cambridge City Airport Safety Management System, and all other documentation to assure the initial and on-going safety of ATC Operations.

Qualifications:
- Hold a UK CAA Air Traffic Controller’s license with ADI rating and ideally APS rating and must validate this at Cambridge as part of their continued employment.
- Hold (or obtain) a UK Class 3 medical certificate
- ATCO Level 6 English language proficiency
Desirable:
- APP rating
- Met Observers Qualification
- To have validated ATCO Class G Airspace experience
