Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Friday Housekeeper to join our team with possible Monday & Saturday hours too for the right candidate.
The successful candidate must have own transport, will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation within our premises, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in hospitality or janitorial services who are committed to delivering exceptional service.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, communal areas, and facilities in accordance with established standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all surfaces to maintain cleanliness and hygiene
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used correctly and maintained in good condition
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning procedures
- Assist with organising linen supplies and cleaning materials efficiently
- Follow company policies regarding waste disposal and environmentally friendly practices
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within allocated timeframes
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service are highly valued
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6.0 – 15.0 per week
