Location: St Georges, Canterbury, Colchester, CO2 7RU
Hours: Breakfast Club (7:30–9:00am) / After School Club (3:00–6:00pm). Term-time role with flexible shifts available during the hours above.
Pay: £12.50- £13.75 per hour
Join Our Team as a Wraparound Play & Activity Leader
Essex Professional Coaching is looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our team as a Wraparound Play & Activity Leader.
You will help create a safe, fun and engaging environment for children attending our before and after-school clubs at St Georges School.
This role is ideal for parents, teaching assistants, students or anyone who enjoys working with children and wants flexible part-time hours around the school day.
Who are we?
Essex Professional Coaching is a children's activity, education and childcare provider, currently delivering programmes that impact over 6,000 children every week across Essex, working in partnership with 40+ primary schools to support children's health, wellbeing and development.
Our wraparound provision exists to offer every child a fun, active, and supportive start and finish to their school day. At EPC, we believe children thrive when they’re moving, playing, and connecting with others, so our sessions are filled with energy, creativity, and teamwork.
As a wraparound play and activity leader you will:
- Support children during before and after-school club sessions
- Lead fun games, creative activities, sport and physical activity and play opportunities
- Help create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment
- Support children with different needs and personalities
- Communicate with parents, staff and the school team

Desirable:
- Previous experience in childcare, schools or play settings
- Knowledge of safeguarding or Ofsted requirements

Trial session supporting a wraparound club at this setting
