Summary
We have an opportunity for a Parts Inventory Processor to join our busy Parts Team. This role involves inventorying salvageable parts from vehicles prior to dismantling using a dedicated inventory system and uploading e-commerce listings. The ability to learn and fully utilise software systems and databases is a must for this role. This is an integral role in supporting the productivity of the Parts Team.
Main Duties
- Accurately inventory vehicle parts prior to dismantling; adding stock to our inventory system following correct procedures to ensure all parts are accurately imaged, described and graded.
- Assisting in grading and testing parts following correct procedures and in compliance with VRA standards.
- Listing stock parts onto our e-commerce shop following correct processes; pricing of parts and ensuring all details are accurate.
- Regular monitoring and researching competitor pricing to support pricing of stock parts.
- Maintaining performance expectations and KPIs set across the Parts Department.
- Assisting in the completion of stock checks within the Parts Warehouse as and when required.
- Attending and participating in workshops, webinars and training exercises in order to broaden your skillset and keep up-to-date with industry trends and knowledge.
- Complying with Health & Safety and Environmental Management practices, as guided by company processes.
- Liaise and communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure the above tasks are carried out effectively.

Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- An already established knowledge in vehicles and their parts which will mature throughout your role.
- Proven experience in a similar role and/or role within the motor industry will serve as a strong advantage.
- Strong organisational skills and time management is a must for this role; you will be expected to prioritise and keep on top of your workload effectively, both independently and as part of a small team.
- The ability to learn and fully utilise software systems and databases required for this role is a must.

Hours
Full-Time (40 hours)
Monday – Friday, between 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
Additional Notes
Salary will be discussed at interview and is dependent on experience and skill set of the candidate. Training will be given in the use of our software systems and relevant company procedures in order to carry out this job role. Fork lift truck training will be considered for candidates that do not hold a valid certificate following a successful probation period, if deemed necessary. This role involves outdoor work in all weathers. This role is subject to a satisfactory Right to Work and Reference Checks.
