Sous chef wanted - Come cook with us!
We’re a busy, independent coffee shop with a big heart, and we’re looking for a talented Sous chef to join our small, friendly kitchen team.
We’re passionate about serving fresh, delicious food and creating a warm, welcoming place for our customers. We’re looking for someone who shares that passion - someone who enjoys cooking from scratch, takes pride in every plate and loves being part of a supportive team.
As our Sous chef, you’ll work closely with our Head chef, helping to keep the kitchen running smoothly while bringing your own ideas, creativity and enthusiasm to the role.
Someone who:
- has experience as a Sous chef or is an experienced Chef de partie ready to step up.
- leads by example and enjoys supporting others
- is reliable, hardworking and has a positiver attitude.
You’ll be doing:
- support the Head chef with day to day running of the kitchen
- preparing fresh breakfasts, brunches, lunches and seasonal specials
- maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- helping stock control and reducing waste
- training and encouraging the kitchen team.
- keeping kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with food safety standards.
