Overview
We are currently recruiting SIA Licensed Door Supervisors to work in a variety of venues and events across Bristol. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing a professional and friendly customer experience.
In addition to regular door supervision work, festival work will also be available throughout the year.
Duties
- Monitor entrance and exit points to ensure the safety of all patrons and staff.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify any suspicious behaviour or potential threats.
- Enforce venue policies and regulations, ensuring compliance with licensing laws.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, maintaining a calm and professional demeanour in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying and addressing theft or other criminal activities within the premises.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, ensuring thorough documentation for future reference.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner while remaining vigilant about security concerns.
Experience
- Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with CCTV operation and surveillance techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution is essential.
