Site Manager – Term Contract
Location: Worksop
Salary: up to £55,000 + £4,800 car allowance (Salary is open to further negotiation)
Contract: Fixed-term / Term Contract until approximately March 2028
Working pattern: Site-based, Monday to Friday
About the role
Phenna Group is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join the team on a long-term term contract, supporting a key client site in the Worksop area.
This is an important role with an immediate focus on site management during planned shutdowns, alongside responsibility for supporting safe and compliant construction and engineering activities on site.
The contract is expected to run until approximately March 2028, with the potential for the position to become permanent.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day site management and coordination during planned shutdowns and other project activities.
- Coordinate contractors and site teams to ensure work is planned and delivered safely and efficiently.
- Monitor site activities and ensure appropriate Health & Safety controls are in place.
- Apply and promote compliance with CDM 2015 Regulations.
- Review RAMS, construction information and other relevant documentation.
- Work closely with the client, contractors, project teams and other stakeholders.
- Identify and address site risks and support the implementation of appropriate control measures.
- Carry out site inspections and provide practical Health & Safety advice where required.
- Maintain accurate site records and reports.
- Support the wider project team throughout the delivery of construction and engineering activities.
About you
We're looking for an experienced Site Manager with a strong practical background in industrial, engineering, manufacturing or construction environments.
You'll ideally have:
- Recent and relevant Site Management experience.
- A valid SMSTS certificate.
- Good practical knowledge of CDM 2015.
- Experience managing contractors and site activities.
- Experience working within an industrial, engineering, manufacturing or construction environment.
- A good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage site activities confidently.
- A practical and professional approach to problem solving.
Experience across design, manufacturing, construction and/or Health & Safety would be particularly beneficial.
Experience of planned shutdowns would also be advantageous.
Location and working arrangements
The role will be based on a client site in the Worksop area, working 5 days per week on site.
Due to the nature of the role, you'll need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Worksop and be comfortable working in a fully site-based environment.

Salary is open to further negotiation for an excellent candidate, depending on experience and suitability.
