Job Overview:
We are seeking x2, Class 2 Vehicle Recovery Operative Living / Based around the Braintree Essex Area, Surrounding Areas are fine.
This is a Night Position 6pm - 6am 4 On 4 Off
Reliability, Hardworking and willing to do long nights is a must. This can be a very unsociable and demanding job.
As a Recovery Operative you will be responsible for assisting and recovering vehicles from the roadside, in Essex , Cambridge & Suffolk and Further.
This position requires a Class 2, CPC, Full & Clean valid UK driver's license .
Clean criminal record, as you will be regularly vetted to adhere to client contracts
Duties:
-Daily Vehicle Checks
-Spare Wheel Changes
-Battery Jump Starts
-Loading and Unloading Disabled Vehicles Safely, Including Motorcycles.
-Dealing with vehicles in dangerous locations, including hardshoulders and ditches
-Dealing with vulnerable members of the public.
-Keeping Vehicle clean and tidy
-Other typical duties associated with this type of role
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar position desirable
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle repairs is preferred
- Experience Driving Larger Vehicles Down Tight Narrow Roads Is a must
- Excellent customer service is a must as you will be in the truck with customers everyday.
Hours & Pay:
You will be on an Annual salary of £35k, Plus overtime.
This is a 24/7 365 business , so working over the Christmas and bank holiday periods is standard.
