Our Freight Forwarding dept requires an Import Shipping Clerk to join our well established family business.
Responsible for the submission of accurate import entries
Arrange deliveries/releases, liaising with customers
Ideally have a minimum of 1 years experience
Familiar with customs declarations - CDS
Be organised & proactive and able to prioritise workload
Attentive to detail
Offer solutions and advise to customers
Able to work well under pressure and work well within a small growing team
Experience working with Port & Customs authorities would be an advantage
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A proactive approach to problem-solving
Strong communication and people skills
