We are currently looking for a Fork lift driver/Yard Shunter to join our professional warehouse team . A class 1 C + E licence is an advantage but not essential as all shunting of vehicles would be an would be done on site. The successful applicant :
- Hold currant FLT licence
- Will be hard working and conscientious, will have a good knowledge of the general haulage industry, will be reliable and punctual.
- Load and unload vehicles using counter balance fork trucks
- Load and unload containers as and when needed.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for bringing trailers round from the trailer park to be loaded in the warehouse area, strapping goods down then returning the trailer back to the trailer park.
- You will be responsible for moving Rigid vehicles for loading.
- You will be required to strap and secure all vehicles and trailer that have been loaded.
- The shift that you will be covering will be negotiable with some over time, you will also be required to work alternative Saturday morning.
- Wage will be negotiable depending upon experience
