£38,000 to £42,000 + Career Progression
Clark Wood are recruiting for an Audit Senior to join a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Middlesbrough.
This role would suit an ACA / ACCA qualified Audit Senior with previous UK accountancy practice experience and a strong background in statutory audit.
The Role
- Managing statutory audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Leading audit fieldwork and supervising junior staff
- Working with OMBs, SMEs and corporate clients
- Acting as a key client contact and resolving audit queries
- Reviewing junior work and providing support
- Ensuring audits are completed accurately and on time
- Travelling to client sites across the North East and Yorkshire where required
The Person
- ACA / ACCA qualified
- Previous audit experience within accountancy practice
- Experience auditing OMB and SME clients
- Strong technical audit knowledge
- Confident managing assignments independently
- Strong client communication skills
