The Property Services department is looking for an Assistant Team Manager – Architecture to join our multi-disciplinary team. In this role, you will support the Team Manager in delivering major projects, lead and develop staff, and contribute to the future direction and continuous improvement of the service.
Reporting to the Team Manager (Architecture), you will support the delivery of key architectural projects and deputise where required. You will be responsible for managing projects, ensuring compliance with statutory and corporate requirements, and fostering effective working relationships with internal and external partners.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate and committed, with strong technical expertise and leadership capability. You will hold a relevant HND (or equivalent), have significant experience in architectural design and contract management, and demonstrate a thorough understanding of all stages of non-domestic building design and construction.
You will also have excellent IT and CAD skills, a proven ability to manage workloads and supervise staff, and a proactive, flexible approach. This is a hands-on role requiring the ability to manage a small team, maintain your own caseload, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
