Summary
We are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to help maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of our Luxury Lodges! Based in, this role is vital in ensuring our visitors enjoy a spotless and enjoyable environment, reflecting our commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties of our Luxury Lodges
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and products effectively and safely.
- Assist with maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues identified during cleaning activities.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keeping a clean, organised stock room, notifying the office team when we run low on cleaning supplies, bedding etc.
- Cleaning lodges to the highest standard for customers checking in.
- Adhering to cleaning and maintenance checklists, and working closely alongside the office team.
- Good timekeeping – you may be working to meet early check-ins with a high turnover of lodges so it is essential that deadlines can be met each day.
- Well organised – all lodges have an inventory that must be accounted for.
- Good communication – you will be working closely alongside the office team, you must be able to make them aware of damages, maintenance issues, and also work alongside the operations department.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work would be beneficial but not essential
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning would be beneficial but not essential
- Previous experience working in a busy environment is desirable.
