Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Operative to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products efficiently and accurately, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the production process. Duties
- Assemble products and components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and diagrams to ensure accurate construction of items
- Conduct quality checks during the assembly process to identify defects or inconsistencies
- Maintain a clean and organised work station to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist in the packaging and preparation of finished goods for dispatch
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in assembly work within a warehouse or manufacturing setting is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous, enabling understanding of product components and assembly procedures
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Familiarity with warehouse operations or logistics processes is a plus
- Ability to read technical drawings or instructions is beneficial but not essential
