Role Description
The Audit & Accounts Senior role at WBV Chartered Accountants is a full-time, on-site position located in Swansea. Responsibilities include planning and conducting audits for a varied portfolio of clients, preparing financial statements, and management accounts. The role also involves assessing financial records, identifying areas for process improvement, and working collaboratively with clients to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Mentoring junior staff and providing technical expertise to support their professional development will also form part of the day-to-day responsibilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in conducting audits and preparing financial statements, desirable however not essential.
- Proficiency in general accounting practices and preparation of financial statements for limited companies, sole traders etc
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for reviewing financial records and identifying potential discrepancies.
- Effective client relationship management, communication, and consultative skills
- Proven ability to lead and mentor junior team members effectively
- Support towards professional accounting qualification will be provided
- Previous experience in an accountancy practice
- Adaptability to changing business and client needs
Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
