About the Role
J&S AUTOCARE LTD is a busy and established independent garage in Gloucester, and we are looking for an experienced and reliable MOT Tester to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and is committed to maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards
- Inspecting vehicles thoroughly and accurately
- Identifying and reporting vehicle defects
- Completing MOT documentation and maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and professionally
- Working effectively alongside the workshop team
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment
Requirements
- Valid MOT Tester qualification
- Previous experience as an MOT Tester
- Good knowledge of MOT testing procedures and DVSA requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Professional approach to customers and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence preferred
