Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in management within hospitality. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of managing teams effectively, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving business growth. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, managing administrative functions, and fostering a positive organisational culture.
Duties
- Lead and supervise all organisational departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development programmes.
- Oversee sales and merchandising activities to optimise revenue streams.
- Maintain excellent communication with staff and customers through effective phone etiquette and organisational skills.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, and manage budgets efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and organisational policies.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, motivation, and high morale.
- Analyse market trends to identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion.
- Organise promotional events and campaigns to enhance brand visibility.
Experience
- Proven management experience within hospitality, with a focus on team management and supervising staff.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving organisational targets.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written forms; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous.
- Experience in sales management and administrative functions is preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality that require supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to demonstrate effective time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines consistently. Pay: £32,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
