We are currently seeking a part time Kitchen assistant to join our team in our pub kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a good attention to detail and be able to multitask efficiently with a view to growing into a lead cooking role. Responsibilities:
- Basic food preparation
- Assist in cooking tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards
- Operate standard kitchen equipment effectively
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality dishes for every meal.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Cook, KP or similar role - beneficial but not necessary
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Understanding of food safety guidelines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexible attitude to work
- Ability to work well in a team
- Excellent time management skills
