We are Two Magpies Bakery, an award-winning company with sites across Suffolk and Norfolk. Currently a small group that is rapidly expanding, there are many opportunities for growth and progression within the role. We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our team in Framlingham & Woodbridge to run breakfast and lunch service in our busy kitchen.
This role is 4 days a week, 2 in Framlingham, 2 in Woodbridge
The main responsibilities of the role include:
· Delivering food in a timely manner
· Maintaining an excellent standard of cleanliness at all times
· Ensuring compliance to health and safety and food hygiene procedures, such as ensuring that log books are filled in, all food is date labelled and checked daily
· Minimising wastage
· Actively contributing to menu ideas with appropriate costings
Our sites can get very busy so experience in working alone or in a small team in a fast paced environment is essential.
This role may require some flexibility to travel between our Suffolk sites where necessary.
