Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ground Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for Concreting works. This role offers an excellent opportunity to Applicants should be physically fit, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to high-quality project delivery.
Duties
- Operate hand tools, power tools.
- Support with construction activities including excavation, site preparation, and material handling
- Use machinery such as excavators under supervision for digging and lifting tasks
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with site clean-up and organisation to uphold health and safety standards
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining various tools and machinery
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment
- Familiarity with operating excavators or similar machinery is advantageous
- Basic understanding of construction processes and site safety protocols
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good physical condition with the ability to perform manual labour over extended periods
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while adhering to health and safety regulations. Must have UK driving licence. Own Transport be a benefit.
Pay: From £25.00 per hour
