Justteachers are looking for a caring and engaging Nursery Assistant to work in one of our partner Nurseries located in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a positive work environment which is set up not only for the growth of its children, but staff members too. The role is to start in September, on a full time basis.
The nursery prides itself on providing a nurturing space where young minds are gently guided to explore, learn, and grow through play, creativity, and early education.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation and delivery of activities and lessons
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times, both indoors and outdoors
- Helping with daily routines like feeding, dressing, and toileting as needed
- Adapting activities to meet the individual needs of each child, including those with special requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates will have:
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent in childcare
- Committed to the growth and learning of students
- Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire students
- A clear enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one.
- Two education or nursery-based references are essential
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £92.62-£110.00 per day
